Former Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Nhyiraba Kojo has reechoed how unlucrative the music industry in the country is.

Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, the musician turned businessman sadly revealed music was not a lucrative venture for him.

He stated that he didn’t make a penny out of the songs he produced.

Nhyiraba said all the shows he played over the years were free.

However, the only benefit he sees in the music industry is the opportunities and also the avenue to meet and learn from other people.

Nhyiraba Kojo recounted how a piece of advice he received from one of his musical links aided him to buy a van for a transport business.

He disclosed that revenue generated from the van business contributed to the success of the many businesses he owns today which include seven (7) cold stores and tilapia farms.

With no intentions of doing active music again, Nhyirba Kojo declared his willingness to help other up and coming musicians.
