But on Thursday night Toronto Raptors, the team Drake supports, broke the curse when they beat Golden State Warriors 110-114 to win the NBA Finals with a game to spare, and the Toronto native was loving.
The Raptors won the first of the series and, despite Golden State making it one game each, they never relinquished the lead. They went behind in the third quarter on Thursday but came roaring back to secure their first championship and end the curse.
