Many Respected Pastors Are Gays – Apostle Amoako Atta

The founder and leader of Freedom Chapel International Apostle Amoako
Atta has alleged that most men of God in Ghana are homosexuals.

In an interview with Accra-based Adom FM, he said this makes it
difficult to fight homosexuality in the country since it has permeated
every facet of the society.

His comments follow the controversy surrounding the president’s latest comments on homosexuality.

President Nana Akufo-Addo said on Aljazeera that legalisation of
homosexuality is bound to happen in Ghana if public opinion for it
legalisation grows stronger.

“I don’t believe that in Ghana, so far, a sufficiently strong
coalition has emerged which is having that impact on public opinion that
will say: ‘Change it [the law], let’s then have a new paradigm in

“I think it is something that is bound to happen like elsewhere in the
world, they are activities of individuals or groups,” he said.

Nana Akufo-Addo’s comments have, however, not gone down well with many
Ghanaians, who feel that his comments suggest an endorsement of

Apostle Amoako Atta was optimistic President Akufo-Addo will not lead the legalization of such an act in Ghana.
In a related development, Apostle Amoako Atta said Ghanaian Christians must love homosexuals instead of condemning them.
“It’s about time we love them, bring them onboard so that they can be transformed” he added.
