I Thought My Accident Was Going To End My Acting Career – McBrown

One of the challenging moments of
versatile Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown was her involvement in a
near fatal accident with her boyfriend-Maxwell Mensah on the George
Walker bush highway in 2013.
The actress revealed that on her
hospital bed, she felt it marked the end of her career considering the
injury she suffered on her right arm; adding that it remains one of her
challenging moments.
“In fact I really thought that was going
to be the end of me because I feared my hand could be amputated. My
late mum kept encouraging me that it is well…you will be fine as I laid
on the hospital bed at the 37 Military Hospital”, she revealed to
shocked students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology (KNUST) at its ‘Tek Talk’ series.

She disclosed that all she labored for
was lost through the accident as she had to commit a chunk of her
resources into getting back on her feet and is grateful to God that she
is back to shape and cruising better than before.
The actress, urged students to be
prayerful and steadfast by pursing their dreams and building brands of
originality and not do so under the shadow of others.
It would be recalled that the actress
and her boyfriend in 2013 were involved in a horrific car accident on
the George Walker bush highway at Lapaz, a suburb of Accra with their
Range Rover vehicle.
